Consignment at Benchmark allows artisans to place their handmade furniture and art pieces in our gallery or online store without upfront fees. Benchmark earns a percentage of the sales price only when an item sells. This arrangement enables artisans to gain exposure and access to our customer base while benefiting from our marketing and sales efforts, all without initial costs or time spent selling.  

Fees & Contract

As an artisan at Benchmark, you gain more than a place to display your work — you gain a platform for visibility, connection, and growth within a community that values fine craft and intentional design. We provide a curated physical and digital presence, professional presentation, exposure to interior designers and collectors, and opportunities to collaborate within a network of skilled makers. 

Benchmark retains 15% of the artisan’s listed take-home price, and adds a 15% markup to the final retail price. This ensures your work is fairly valued while supporting the space, marketing, and relationships that help bring it to market.
